Here is a breakdown of each ingredient:

  1. 100% Goat Milk: This is the primary ingredient in our soaps and provides moisturizing and nourishing properties. Goat milk is rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids that are known to benefit the skin. The Goat Milk used in our soapmaking is not watered down at all, instead we use 100% Goat Milk.

  2. Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is commonly used in soap-making due to its ability to create a rich lather and its moisturizing properties. It also adds hardness to the soap.

  3. Unrefined Shea Butter: Shea butter is another excellent moisturizing ingredient. It helps to condition the skin and can be particularly beneficial for dry or sensitive skin types.

  4. Olive Oil: Olive oil is often used in soap recipes for its mild and gentle cleansing properties. It contributes to a creamy lather and can help with moisturizing.

  5. Castor Oil: Castor oil is included to boost the soap's lathering capabilities. It also adds moisturizing properties and can help stabilize the lather.

  6. Lye (Sodium Hydroxide): Lye is a crucial ingredient in soap-making. It reacts with the fats (in this case, the oils and butters) in a process called saponification, transforming them into soap. While lye is caustic in its raw form, it becomes neutralized during the soap-making process, resulting in a safe and gentle soap product.

  7. Titanium Dioxide: Titanium dioxide is a white pigment often used in soap-making to achieve a pure white or opaque appearance in the soap.

  8. Fragrance Oil: This ingredient provides the soap with its scent. Depending on the fragrance oil used, it can impart various scents to the soap.

  9. Mica Color: Mica is a natural mineral pigment used to add color to the soap. It comes in various shades and can be used to create attractive designs or patterns in the soap.

It's important to note that when making soap, the chemical reaction between the lye and fats/oils is carefully controlled to ensure that no lye remains in the final product, making it safe for use on the skin. Proper soap-making techniques and measurements are essential to achieve the desired effect

(Please note that the sensitive body soaps do not contain mica colourants or fragrance oils)

 Shampoo Bars

Here is a breakdown break of the ingredients for you:

  1. 100%Goats' Milk: Goats' milk is often used in skincare and haircare products because it is rich in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids. It helps moisturize and nourish the hair and scalp.

  2. Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is known for its moisturizing properties. It can help soften and condition the hair, as well as provide a nice lather in shampoo bars.

  3. Unrefined Shea Butter: Shea butter is a rich, natural butter that is excellent for moisturizing and protecting the hair and scalp. It can add a creamy texture to the bar.

  4. Olive Oil: Olive oil is another moisturizing ingredient that can help improve the hair's softness and shine.

  5. Sweet Almond Oil: Sweet almond oil is often used in hair products for its ability to nourish and strengthen the hair, as well as add a pleasant aroma.

  6. Kawakawa Infused Oil: Kawakawa is a native New Zealand plant known for its medicinal properties. Infusing it in oil can add potential skin-soothing benefits to the shampoo bar.

  7. Castor Oil: Castor oil is known for its hair-strengthening properties. It can help reduce breakage and improve hair texture.

  8. Lye: Lye (sodium hydroxide) is a necessary ingredient in soap and shampoo bar making. It goes through a chemical reaction with oils (saponification) to create soap. The final product should not contain lye as it is fully converted during the soap-making process.

  9. Mica Colourant: Mica is a natural mineral that is often used to add color and sparkle to cosmetics and soap. It's a common choice for adding color to shampoo bars.

  10. Fragrance Oil: Fragrance oil is added to provide a pleasant scent to the shampoo bar.

(Please note that the sensitive shampoo bar does not contain any mica colourant or fragrance oil)

 Bath Bombs

  1. Moisturizing: Goat milk powder is known for its moisturizing properties. When used in a bath bomb, it can help hydrate your skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth.

  2. Skin-soothing: Kawakawa infused oil, which is derived from the leaves of the native New Zealand kawakawa plant, is traditionally used for its skin-soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. When added to a bath bomb, it can help calm irritated skin.

  3. Effervescent and Relaxing: Baking soda and citric acid are the primary ingredients responsible for the fizzing action of bath bombs. When they react with water, they create carbon dioxide bubbles, giving you a spa-like experience in your bath. This effervescence can be both visually appealing and soothing.

  4. Witch Hazel Astringent: Witch hazel can have astringent properties, which can help tone and tighten the skin. When included in a bath bomb, it may leave your skin feeling refreshed.

  5. Emulsification: Polysorbate 80 is often used in bath bombs to help disperse oils and colorants evenly in the bathwater. It can prevent the oils from pooling on the water's surface and potentially reduce the risk of slippery bathtub surfaces.

  6. Aesthetic Appeal: Mica colorants add vibrant colors to your bath bomb, making the bath experience more visually appealing.

  7. Fragrance or Aromatherapy: Fragrance or essential oils can provide a pleasant scent to your bath bomb, turning your bath into a relaxing aromatherapy session. Different essential oils can also offer various therapeutic benefits, such as relaxation, stress relief, or revitalization.
